Systema Limbicum (2017)

The Limbic System is a set of brain structures that supports a variety of functions, including emotions, behaviour, motivation and long-term memory. This project explores the connections between these aspects through engaging with the memories different individuals have of loved ones who have long passed; a grandmother, a grandfather and a dog.

The making of this project has become a catharsis, through which I have finally let myself feel pain, anger and grief over my grandmother’s passing; the first and most significant loss in my life.
